Ryosuke Hara(b.1975)’s solo exhibition “Sagi-ko (Heron-girl) and Funa-ko (Crucian carp-girl) – In the light” is currently on view at Hiratsuka Museum of Art.  The Exhibition consists of work from 2001 to present, 38 paintings and 15 porcelain.  They are inspired by creeks, mountains, details of nature that he sees everyday from his studio.  In our group show, he places moon light and the path in the woods.  There are fine variance of colors and brush strokes in a small surface.

Hirosuke Yabe (b.1972) carves out wood with electric drill, depicting human spirits.  Completed images are variant yet blessed.  With the strength of rough wood material and delicate expressions, pure-muddy, beauty-ugliness comes together in Yabe’s work.

Santi Alleruzzo (1929-2006) was born in Messina, lived and worked in Villa San Giovanni across the strait through his life.  There are waves coming through the strait, ships at midnight, windy grasslands、Windows and lemons that he painted from everyday life.  As if to reflect his serene life, the works are purifying to contemporary mind.

The group exhibition is in collaboration with YY ARTS and t.gallery
